That’s not always an easy task. Given that, we wanted to feature some of them and get their take on the steps they take towards their own well-being and hopefully, iHerb plays a part in that. Perhaps, from their words, you’ll be able to get some inspiration to help you make positive and healthy changes in your life as well. Today, let’s meet Josh McFarland.
Tell us a little about yourself:
I am originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania and now reside in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. I am a music producer and writer and work with many artists all over the world. My music page can be found here.
How did you find out about iHerb?
I can’t exactly remember, but I believe I was Google searching for a specific product, could be Dr. Bronner’s or something, and I came across it on iHerb.com
What about iHerb first appealed to you?
There were so many products available that I had never seen nor heard of before, but they all looked very interesting!
How long have you been in iHerb customer?
I’ve been a customer since July 2009 and will continue to be one!
What are your favorite products and why?
I love Desert Essence products because there are so many to choose from and all are gentle on the skin. I also got to love Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps! In the morning I wake up with a stuffy nose. I hop in the warm shower and use Dr. Bronner’s Eucalyptus soap to clear up my nasal passages. At night I use Dr. Bronner’s Lavender soap and it relaxes my mind and muscles before bed.
What is your health and wellness philosophy?
Keep focusing on the good things in life. It is important to talk to others who can help you in a difficult situation instead of taking the problem one-on-one.
Do you have a favorite mantra or quote that describes how you try to live your life?

Do you have any current health goals you’re working toward and what are you doing to reach them or have you actually met one or more and would like to share your success story?
I have never belonged to a gym before until late last year. I am sticking to a plan to go at least 4 days a week. I am trying to get in the best shape I’ve ever been in and look great for when the summer comes around! I cannot NOT have a beach body and live at the beach!
Are there any health and wellness tips you’d like to share with other iHerb customers?
Stress plays a huge part in deteriorating health. Stress weakens the immune system and causes you to age early. Hobbies, exercising, yoga, and a little self-pampering are all ways to keep the stress away. Also, music is a very good therapy!
