Last year, I was able to share a tasty Raw Chocolate Banana Smoothie recipe from Winnie, who’s the blogger and creator of the Healthy Green Kitchen Blog. Well, this time around, Winnie came up with smoothie recipe using Madre Labs Midori Greens, a popular greens products sold on iHerb.com. For many, incorporating greens in your diet is not an easy task. For some, it’s downright impossible, so enter the green smoothie. Blender in hand, all you have to do is mix a few quality ingredients together and voila, a drinkable greens drink that is both delicious and healthy is before you. For the Banana Avocado Smoothie recipe below, you’re good to go with just 5 ingredients. How easy is that? To see Winnie’s original post of this recipe, click here.

I try to start my day by having a smoothie every morning. It’s amazing how many fruits and vegetables you can get into one smoothie. I’ll be sure to try this mix.
Love the taste of green goodness in the morning.
Bananas make it taste great…thanks for that idea!
I love smoothies in the morning. I’ve found adding a high quality protein supplement to the mix takes me thru to lunch time easily. As a beginning weight lifter (kettlebell training) at 64 years old, I’m learning an entirely new way of fueling my body. Life is Good.
